On December 14, the delegation headed by Lin Junhan, Representative of Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) Nanjing Office, visited China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone Nanjing Area, accompanied by officials from the Coordination Bureau of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Administrative Committee.
The delegation toured the exhibition hall of Nanjing International Healthcare Area and Tai-Yi Precision Health Care. Located in the core area of Jiangbei New Area (Pilot Free Trade Zone), Nanjing International Healthcare Area, with a planned area of about 5.6 square kilometers, makes great contributions to Nanjing’s endeavors to promote high-level international cooperation, enhance its primacy as the provincial capital and the pacesetter in healthcare services, and construction of a national central city. Tai-Yi Precision Health Care, founded in 2019, is located in Nanjing International Healthcare Area. It provides precise and diversified health examination services with state-of-the-art imaging equipment: 3.0T MRI spectrometer, IQon CT that enables 3D imaging of the heart, whole-genome tester, and sub-health posture detector that integrates TCM and western technologies.
During the tour, President Lin Yingqin and Vice President Lin Huici of Tai-Yi Precision Health Care discussed about the center’s development and the needs of Taiwan enterprises with Representative Lin Junhan and officials of the Coordination Bureau. At the subsequent meeting, officials from the Coordination Bureau introduced the development of Nanjing Area, achievements of institutional innovation and functions of the Coordination Bureau, and put forward proposals for cooperation with focus on policy research, industrial clustering, institutional innovation and other fields. Representative Lin Junhan briefed on the main functions of TAITRA, the needs of Taiwan enterprises and their intentions to cooperate with the Area. Both sides looked forward to substantive results in further improvement of business environment and targeted enterprise services to benefit the long-term development of enterprises in the Area.
