On the afternoon of February 4, the first RECP policy interpretation, hosted by the Coordination Bureau of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Administrative Committee and supported by CCPIT Nanjing Sub-council, was held to instruct enterprises on how to best leverage tariff policy under the framework of RCEP. Representatives from over 100 enterprises participated in this online training.

During the training session, Mr. Zou, who is the leader of the FTA working group of CCPIT China，expert on documentary credit in China Chamber of International Commerce，and head of the legal division of CCPIT Nanjing Sub-council, explained in detail on how to query preferential tariff policy of RCEP countries, how to calculate tax differences, and how to make best use of the differences for tax-planning.

RCEP implementation is important to promoting greater openness and furthering reform. This training helped foreign trade companies in the Nanjing Area better understand RCEP agreement as well as how to enhance competitiveness in the global market and reduce import and export cost under this framework. In the future, Nanjing Area will organize more training of this kind to help enterprises, small and micro ones in particular, to get familiar the content of RCEP with hope to raise their sense of urgency for upgrading and transformation to be more capable in global cooperation and competition.
