On the afternoon of March 22, Nanjing Jiangbei New Area (Pilot Free Trade Zone) held a press conference on the launch of the “Policy Compass” intelligent service platform. This platform is an innovative policy matching tool developed by using advanced technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence and natural language processing technology.

The launching activity introduced the deployment of innovation chain around the industrial chain and the development of science and technology service system and platform in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area (Pilot Free Trade Zone).

The “Policy Compass” intelligent service platform was jointly developed by Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Science and Technology Innovation Bureau and Jiangsu Hongcheng Big Data Technology and Application Research Institute (a new-type R&D institution in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area). The new platform is based on companies’ past scientific and technological declaration data, and a large number of enterprise qualification, financing, intellectual property and other data were also integrated, forming an “enterprise big database”. By processing and analyzing the data, an accurate portrait of the enterprise can be generated, and then the policy will be intelligently analyzed, finally achieving efficient and intelligent matching between the enterprise information and policy requirements.

At present, the platform has been connected to the enterprise service platform of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area (Pilot Free Trade Zone), and companies in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area can log in to the platform at any time for policy screening, policy matching and policy evaluation. Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Science and Technology Innovation Bureau will also optimize and upgrade the platform according to the feedback from companies, continue to introduce more specialized service functions, and strive to make the “Policy Compass” intelligent service platform a name card for science and technology services in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area.

At the meeting, Yin Zhijun, general manager of Nanjing Nanzhi Advanced Optoelectronic Research Institute (IOPTEE) Co., Ltd., and Li Hongyun, general manager of Nanjing Norman Biological Technology Co., Ltd., made keynote speeches on the development history of their companies in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area and their personal experiences of the business environment in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area.
